| It is a sad fact that breeders have to rehome adult cats from time to time if they are to carry on breeding, as having large numbers of cats together can and does cause problems.. We only rehome our cats if we feel living a life out of our large group would benifit them more and are willing to wait as long as it takes to find the perfect home needed for any cat we place. Sometimes an adult cat is better for people if they feel a kitten is going to be a lot of hard work or they are looking for a cat that already has it's own personality and character.. Also sometimes people feel taking on two kittens isn't for them, so an adult cat with a kitten will often work very well.. Any adult cat that leaves cattery Lenromas will be already altered and we expect them to have the same level of care as they get here with us.. They leave here because it is what we feel is best for them not for us. |

| Mazal-Tov Adonis (SIA d21) and Lenromas Nadia (OSH h) We always try and raise 2 male kittens together so when the time comes for them to live apart from the females they have each other for company as we feel Oriental type cats are best never kept alone. Adonis came to us as an adult and had always lived alone. Even smelling our other male cats on clothes made him angry so we knew we could never introduce him to another male. Nadia was always a very shy and nervous female. She ran away from human contact and would act very aggresive towards our other females and often this would end in fighting. We decided such a female should not be bred and felt being out of our large cat group was best for her, but because she was so shy finding her a new home would not be easy. We decided to see what would happen if we put her with Adonis. We could not have asked for a better outcome. They fell for each other right away. Adonis was no longer alone and Nadia was away from the fighting, but even better still Nadia became a lot calmer and is much more relaxed around people and is even growing to like human attention. For this reason we feel Adonis and Nadia must stay together.. They need a loving, calm and permanent home where they can be showered with all the love they deserve.. They must be the only cats of the house because although Adonis is a sweet boy who loves his cuddles, he is very aggressive to other males and Nadia was never happy with our other females. |
